Church/Cathedral Tag - Finland - salikon

The Orthodox Church of Tampere shown in this card was built in 1896-99. What a beautiful and ornate building, unlike any church I have seen.

Special Reason Card - USA - barbarian

This card was sent to me for special reason - to share a stamp of a childhood favourite book. The card shows the Buckeye Tree, or as it's known to us Brits the Horse Chestnut Tree. This reminds me of autumn childhood days collecting conkers with my friends.

Postcard 07 - Finland - bluelady

My first postcard from Finland took five travel days to reach me. The snow covered landscape is exactly how I imagine Finland to look, a beautiful white winter scene. I love the two pictures of the birds, they look so delicate, you wonder how they survive such a harsh environment.

Thank You Card - Germany - Capricorn

A wonderful postcard of a tallship. There's something very romantic about the image of a traditional boat with it's sails billowing out as it cuts a path through the waves.
