The pictures of Venice on this beautiful postcard bring back wonderful memories for me of the holiday my mother and I took to Italy. We visited Venice, Florence, Pisa, Assisi, Rome and Sorrento. Venice is special for it's combination of canals, architecture, history and art.

State Flower - Apple Blossom. State Bird - Robin. State Game Mammal - White-tailed Deer. State Fish - Brook Trout. The State Motto is - "If you seek a pleasant peninsula, look about you". Michigan is known as the Wolverine State and is the 26th State of the Union.

Another fabulous card from Finland. I love seeing the wildlife of another country, so much of it is so different to the animals and birds we have here. Fascinating.

This card shows the 'Hot Air Balloon Stampede' held annually in May, in Walla Walla. I love seeing hot air balloons, so colourful and serene. I've been hot air ballooning myself, it's an amazing feeling to float above the land.

Vacation Tag - USA - Art101
This card was brought back by the sender from Costa Rica, which the sender tells me means 'rich coast' in Spanish. The birds shown on the card are: Keel-Billed Toucan, White Tern and Scarlet Macaw. A wonderfully colourful card which has brightened my day.
