The picture on this card put me in mind of the famous tale of Grace Darling, the lighthousekeeper's daughter, who in 1838, at the age of just 22, helped her father to rescue 9 sailors from a shipwreck in a terrible storm. If you don't know the story just enter her name into a search engine and you will see why she was considered a true heroine :)
